Is there a Doctor in the House?

This week has been a whirlwind. It has been SO busy! Our church presented their first Dinner Theater this weekend, and it was fantastic! They have been working for MONTHS getting everything together and it all paid off!
Although, I wasn't actually in the play I was able to sit in on a few practices. It was so neat to watch this cast of church goers laugh and have so much fun! It's amazing when you do something like this to see who will sign up to take part. I think you get to know fellow christians in a whole new way. It was just a really neat experience!
But, last week was crunch time. There were all kinds of last minute line learning sessions, costume prep, figuring out who stands where, and how the tables should be faced, etc. It was a busy week! We had a fantastic lady from our church who volunteered to be the Director, and she did an incredible job! Each person was casted perfectly and each cast member worked SO hard. And, here is how it all turned out!

The cast:

The play was all about finding true love. The lead roles Lucy and Lester were in love, but Lucy's father had other plans in mind. He picked the man she was to marry and she lost  her voice before she could say "I do". The whole play is about everyone in town trying to find a doctor to cure Lucy. The only cure was true love, Lester Goodbe.

We often see this scenerio played out in lives today, those who seek to find their true love and fall into the ways of the world. Many seek to fill a void that can only be filled with the One and Only true love of Jesus Christ. What about you, do you know His love?
