Dog Days of Summer

I'm just not ready for summer.

I want it to stay Spring all year.

I want to keep temperatures like this:

Flowers like these:

(Although the Preacher Man says it's a weed... )

The chirps of new life in the trees

Sidewalk chalk drawing without hot red cheeks

The cool breeze blowing

But, I have a feeling it won't be long until Summer is here.

I kinda dread it.

I don't like to sweat.
