Home

This past weekend the Preacher Man and I went home to be with our families. His brother was celebrating 40 years of life, which brought us homeward bound. We had a fantastic time celebrating his 40th birthday with LOTS of laughter. Unfortunatley, I didn't get any good pictures of the party so you will just have to take my word for it. It was a fun-filled time.

This trip home we stayed with parents. My mom broke out the old-fashioned hand crank ice cream maker and we put it to good use.

Everyone took a turn at cranking, even Miss Ruthie Jane.

The finished product.
And, yes it was as delightful as it looks!

There is just something about the soft-serve texture of homemade ice cream that can't be duplicated.

And, then we all took our seats in the living room for...

THE RUTHIE JANE SHOW
Starring: Ruthie Jane

She informed us that she "looks fancy."

She jigged the night away to PaPa's music.

The lighting was dim, so the pictures are a little odd colored. But, she put on quite a show!
